NEIL DRUMMING : Director / Writer

Neil Drumming is a filmmaker, journalist, and pop culture critic. He is a former staff writer and editor at Entertainment Weekly and his work has appeared in numerous publications including Wired, The Washington Post, Vibe, Rolling Stone, Essence and Vanity Fair. He lives in Brooklyn.



Matthew Keene Smith is an independent film producer based in Los Angeles. He is a former production, development and acquisitions executive at Myriad Pictures. Matthew began his career working for film director Bob Rafelson, and was Associate Producer on Rafelson’s No Good Deed (Samuel L Jackson, Milla Jovovich).


CLIFF CHARLES : Cinematographer / DP

For nearly 20 years, Cliff Charles has served as a Director of Photography on projects ranging from Chris Rock’s Sundance winning documentary Good Hair, the Spirit Award nominated film Jellysmoke, and the Jamaican gangster film Shottas. He has earned 2 Emmy nominations for Outstanding Cinematography on Spike Lee’s multi-award winning documentaries, When the Levees Broke and If God Is Willing And Da Creek Don’t Rise. His commercial credits include spots and promos for HBO, the NBA on TNT, The Daily News, Converse, State Farm, BET and VH-1, along with music videos for artists like Mos Def and Wyclef Jean. His company, The People’s DP Inc, combines his interests in Cinematography, Diversity and Education through projects like DPTV – an online magazine for and about Cinematography.


LENNY PAYAN : Co-Producer / 1st AD

Lenny Payan is a New York-based filmmaker who has worn many hats on numerous projects ranging from shorts to features, television, commercial and video work. He was the 1st AD on such features as MOOZlum, Know How and Three Can Play That Game. He is currently co-producing a documentary entitled The Sunflower County Freedom Project and the indie feature Woven. Lenny also has a number of directing & editing credits, including the award-winning short film Production.



A native New Yorker, producer Devin Williams studied English at the University at Albany and has a Juris Doctor from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.



Keith Overton is an editor based out of New York. He edited the short film Mr. Softie, and was assistant editor on Chicago 10, director Brett Morgen’s innovative part-animated documentary about the Chicago Eight, as well as assistant editor on Morgen’s Peabody Award-winning Nimrod Nation for Sundance Channel. Keith's TV credits include assistant editor on MTV's Docu-Series The World of Jenks, and PBS’s Invitation to World Literature and History Detectives, as well as The Style Network documentary Baring It All, which won a Daytime Emmy.


SARA K WHITE : Production Designer

A trained interior designer, Sara K White worked at STUDIOS Architecture before making the leap to film, where she works with directors and actors to create spaces that support and develop depth and history in characters. Production Design credits include Tom Gilroy's The Cold Lands, J.P. Chan’s A Picture of You, and Sam Fleischner’s upcoming Stand Clear of the Closing Doors. Credits for art direction include Dee Rees’ Pariah, Waiting for the Blackout, Return, Abel Ferrara's 4:44 - Last Day on Earth; and Lance Edmund's Bluebird. For the past three years, she has also acted as Art Director in residence at the Sundance Directors Lab.


ENIOLA DAWODU : Costume Designer

Eniola Dawodu is a Costume Designer with a penchant for all things cultured and charismatic. She seeks to visually expose the essence of characters, bringing them to life through their style by creating aesthetically stimulating costumes. Eniola was Costume Designer for the Sundance award-winning feature Pariah, directed by Dee Rees. Most recently, Eniola costume designed director Alexandre Moors’ Blue Caprice, and assistant costume designed director Andrew Dosunmu's Ma' George, both of which are set to premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Currently, she is costume designing the Discovery Channel series Commander In Chief: Inside the Oval Office. Other work includes Assistant Costume Designer for Dosunmu’s Restless City and Costume Designer for director Rob Burnett's We Made This Movie.


LOIS DRABKIN : Casting Director

Lois Drabkin is a casting director and producer in New York City. Her film credits include The Missing Person, Night Catches Us, Restless City, Neal Cassady, Red Doors, and the New York casting on Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds. Upcoming credits include Killer Films’ Deep Powder, Larry Fessenden's Beneath, and Reggie Bythewood’s BET TV movie, Gun Hill. Lois was nominated by the Casting Society of America for an Artios™ Award in 2010 and 2011 for Outstanding Achievement in Casting for the features The Missing Person and Night Catches Us, and in 2012 for the short film Gunny by Patrick Stettner. As an independent producer, her credits include Weakness, The Missing Person, and Glass Chin, on which she is currently working.
